How do you stop male dogs from peeing on shrub?

We are on the first floor of an apt. complex and all the dogs from upstairs alway pee's on the shrubs by my door and window. What can I use to keep them from doing this?

How do you stop male dogs from peeing on shrub?
Okay this is a goofy suggestion, but it WORKS!!!!!

Take a fence stake (plastic that you step into the ground) and take a roll from some wrapping paper (or paper towels) and put it on the stake. Show "Rover" the new "pee post" on leash and let him pee on it. Do this for a couple days till he automatically goes there. Now when you let him out he will look for the new pee point and go there. Then you can move the post as you wish and change it with new rolls from paper towels or wrapping paper.
Reply:good luck with that.
Reply:Well...you should go to the precice owner of the dog and tell them

"Your dog has been 'using the bathroom' on our plants..".

Then maybe they will do something about it,if they start an agruement, just say you don't want to start a fight.Just tell them that all you wish to do is ask them to train the dog a little better.^_^
Reply:I don't know if you can!

You could always buy a "pee post" from the pet store. It attracts dogs to pee on it. You could hide it somewhere else outside your apartment and hope the dogs switch spots!
