What is the "shrub" that rolls in many westerns in duels? thanks in advance?
It is a tumbleweed, but not sagebrush. Sagebrush is a shrub found in most natural prairie areas. Tumbleweed is a herbaceous plant also called russian thistle (Salsola kali). The act of rolling in the wind is that plants method of seed dispersal.
