I dug up a weeping pea shrub from my old garden, but when we dug it
out the rootball did not come with it. Not good ... but i want to try
rescue the poor thing.
I know it's going to need a lot of tlc to try to get it to come back,
but i'm not sure what to do with it.
Any ideas?
Weeping pea shrub {help!!!!}?
Hi Wasuplat,
So you didn't get any of the rootball? You're right, that is NOT good.
You could try to use some root-growth stimulant on the bottom end of the trunk. There are several different ones. Here's a link to several.

I've used Rootone with some success. You should be able to get one of these products at your local nursery. Not sure if they have them at Walmart or Lowe's, but it might be worth a try.
I know it's hard to lose one that you've tried to save, but give it your best shot before giving up. Good luck! I'll be sending positive cosmic energies your way!
