Just wanted to say that thyroid issues are not caused by a salt deficiency or any such absurdity, as suggested by a previous answer-giver.
In third-world countries, hypothyroidism is often caused by iodine deficiency, but this is very rare in Western countries because of our prolific use of iodized salt. In those countries, upping your kelp (or other iodine-rich plant) intake might help, but if you're not suffering from an iodine deficiency, adding more iodine won't help.
Most likely, even homeopathic treatments for hypothyroidism in the Western world will consist of some form of animal-product or synthetically produced levothyroxine (otherwise known as T4), triiodothyronine (T3), or both in some combination.
Untreated hypothyroidism is quite dangerous, and the standard medical treatment for it is relatively inexpensive. In my opinion, you are taking your life (and certainly your health) in your hands if you try to treat yourself. See a licensed medical professional (homeopath or otherwise) to help you decide on a course of treatment.
If your question pertains to HYPERthyroidism, your homeopath or doctor may suggest one or more of the following plants: Calcare phos, Calcarea carb, Lapis alb, Iodium, Thyroidinum, Spongia, and Lycopus. However, only a healthcare professional can tell you what to do about thyroid issues. Don't treat yourself. It's dangerous.
Name of Shrub or plant used for thyroid treatment ?
Thyroid is a salt deficiency in the glands around the neck area. Seaweed is a saltwater plant. Any plant that contains salt may be potential treatments for thyroid, I would think.
