Seen growing in Maryland and Delaware, USA, as well as in Hessen State, Germany. Trying to identify the name of this yellow-flowered evergreen shrub that LOOKS like a member of the holly family, but is not.
"Berberis troglodytes"--is this the same yellow-flowered evergreen shrub w/leaves like holly: "Oregon Grape"?
Oregon Grape Holly is Berberis aquifolium.
I am not aware of B. troglodytes.
