Upon using it the first time after oiling the blades and such, found out the blades were so dull they wouldn't cut anything. Can you re-sharpen electric shrub trimmer blades?How? Thank you all very much.

I remember seeing a sharpener for items at one of the large hardware stores. Also, there are still a few people around who sharpen tools (saws, papercutters, knives, etc.) for a living - check the paper or yellow pages.
Reply:Yes you can but it is tedious work. Get a round metal file and try to sharpen the individual blades at the same angle they were originally. Pull the plug first! Good Luck.
