These are fairly common to buy at your local nursery. But be patient, they grow quickly!!! Yours will be huge next year!

Reply:This is actually just a shrub which should be cut well back every year. If you take cuttings regularly you will have some every year.

If you don't cut it back it will burn out and die off in a few years just persevere with the cutting and keep giving it a trim to keep it in check. Mine has taken over this year and I can't see out of the window- big saw is coming out tomorrow!
Reply:See Robin Hoods answer. If this is what you mean nearest garden centre should have one. It is a splendid shrub but short lived. Aim to replace after a few years by cuttings. Cut back in winter.
Reply:If you mean a Lavatera, you will get one at any garden centre. They come in pink or purple. Check that this would be the right time for planting one. You are right when you say it is lovely and the display is beautiful and lasts for ages, but i think they do need replaced when they get to a certain size.
